Mary asked if she could have a closer look at the bird, a so-called white-masked dwarf horned owl. Jette Jørgensen, who had the owl on her shoulder, then gave Mary a special glove on her left hand. After this, the queen was able to have the dwarf horned owl on her hand, and Mary, after Jette's OK, took the opportunity to gently touch the horned owl Silje's soft chest.....it was an experience Mary seemed to enjoy.
