"The Crown Prince and the Crown Princess' Court

Chief of Court, T.R.H. The Crown Prince and the Crown Princess' Court, Chamberlain Christian Schønau

Private Secretary, T.R.H. The Crown Prince and the Crown Princess' Court Morten Roland Hansen"

Had Mary attended she would have been nr 2 on the list.

That's true.  Shoot. I was hoping we would see her before the CP fam goes MIA for summer holiday.

I'm still hoping for them to attend the Ring Riders Parade in Gråsten. QM will not, as she doesn't arrive in Gråsten until the day after.

Well, Mary would have been there...., just not "officially".

"In addition to Crown Prince Frederik, who hosted the reception, Crown Princess Mary would also have attended. Crown Princess Mary had just arrived at the Royal Yacht, where Crown Prince Frederik already was, when the decision to cancel the festivities was made. It is believed that the Crown Prince and Crown Princess are still on the Royal Yacht."

Per previous post: One arrest in Copenhagen, one more still around with a gun.

Yeah, she was basically Frederik's +1.

I do understand cancelling the reception.  Cannot have a shooting going on and all these people celebrating on the royal yacht.

I would think they'd have CPC stay on the yacht for security reasons.

Thank you, Paulamary :rose:

This thread is unfortunately filling up for the wrong reasons: According to the police, several dead and injured in Cph.

"The tragic incident is also visible in the streets of Sønderborg. Here, officers were armed with machine guns, while prominent guests such as Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen (S), Christian Prudehomme race director, mayor of Sønderborg Erik Lauritzen (S) and several personalities from the cycling world stood on the quay and were informed that the royal house had cancelled the official end on the Tour de France. - It is completely natural with a cancellation, but the joy of the recent days party can not be taken from the hundreds of thousands who have stood along the routes, says Lars Løkke Rasmussen, former prime minister and the man who in his time could announce that the world's largest bicycle race would come to Denmark."

The news from Copenhagen is horrible.  First Norway and now Denmark.  I am praying for everyone affected.

However,  everyone in Denmark should he very proud of the Tour events held there over the last few days.  The events went off without a hitch and brought alot of joy to thousands of people young, old and all in between.  All the organizers did a magnificent job and so did Frederik with all his years of hard work to bring the Tour to Denmark.
