  1. Does anyone remember if there has been a carriage ride like this during the past 10-15 years? I can't remember any and there was not one during the Dutch State Visit last year.
  2. It seems Prince Henrik picks and chooses when he attends.... In January he did attend the State Banquet, the arrival and the return arrangement. I hope it's the last time Queen Margrethe first announces that he is attending, and then, a week or two later, it is announced that he doesn't.

Today there was a rehearsal of tomorrow's ride.

State Banquet at Christiansborg Palace 20.00 The Queen hosts a State Banquet in honour of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde. State of Green is a public-private partnership between the Danish government, relevant companies and actors in the energy sector. Visit to the UN City 11.25 The Crown Princess and Queen Mathilde together visit the UN City in Copenhagen. Here, The Crown Princess and Queen Mathilde will meet Belgian representatives from the UN City’s offices and also take part in a tour and a meeting. High-Level luncheon 12.40 The Crown Prince and King Philippe participate in a High-Level luncheon with representatives from Danish and Belgian companies, among others. The luncheon focuses on themes such as renewable energy, smart cities, sea transport and sustainability. Academic luncheon 13.15 The Crown Princess hosts a working luncheon, with Queen Mathilde participating, at Frederik VIII’s Palace, Amalienborg. The State Council dinner for the members of the State Council is only the fourth held during the past 17 years. Members of the State Council are: Queen Margrethe, Crown Prince Frederik, the PM of Denmark and all government ministers. "Jaha's Promise" is about a young girl who was circumcised as a child and at the age of eight years was part of an arranged marriage.
