Does anyone remember if there has been a carriage ride like this during the past 10-15 years? I can't remember any and there was not one during the Dutch State Visit last year.

It seems Prince Henrik picks and chooses when he attends.... In January he did attend the State Banquet, the arrival and the return arrangement. I hope it's the last time Queen Margrethe first announces that he is attending, and then, a week or two later, it is announced that he doesn't.

The State Council dinner for the members of the State Council is only the fourth held during the past 17 years.
