I'm having problems with the translator - can't add a translation.

Here's a machine translation

Loneliness is a large and overlooked problem among adult Danes. Sundhedsprofilen (The Health Profile) shows that 7.2% of the 35-44 year olds and 9.4% of 45-54 year olds rarely or never make friends and 4-5% in both age groups are lacking someone to talk to when they have problems or need support. In the new project "Power Station - network for adults" the Mary Foundation and the Red Cross are together working to support adults who experience lasting loneliness.

Prolonged loneliness detracts from our quality of life significantly and is harmful to our health in line with smoking. Despite the prevalence and the high human costs associated with loneliness, we are reluctant to speak about loneliness, and it makes it hard to get it to life. The Mary Foundation and the Red Cross are doing something about it in this new cooperation.

The focal point of the new project is to bring people together and strengthen them in creating a strong and lasting network. The Red Cross branches havee people who lack contact with other people, be able to join a network where togetherness and strengthening the individual's network is the focal point.

The program for the network groups is being developed currently and will be piloted in seven selected local branches (Slagelse, Koge, Roskilde, Hørsholm, Capital, Faaborg and Odense) in the first half of 2015. The pilot period will be monitored and evaluated by Christine E. Swane, director of Lonely Old Man Protection and a member of the Mary Foundation expert team in solitude. If the results meet expectations, the ambition is to extend the offer to several local chapters around the country.

The Mary Foundation has since 2011 worked with loneliness as one of its three priorities and released earlier this year, a qualitative research report prepared in collaboration with Lonely old man's protection. The report is based on 20 interviews with adults who have lived much of their lives in solitude. In addition, the Mary Foundation uncovered what exists of evidence-based research in the fiels of loneliness at home and abroad. The Mary Foundation has since 2011 had a panel of leading Danish and international experts in loneliness associated with the foundation.

Danish Red Cross has several years of experience with discussion groups and networks of local branches throughout the country. The Red Cross is a voluntary relief organization, where more than 10,000 volunteers in 220 local chapters relieve social distress and make a difference for the most vulnerable in Denmark.

The new project is on the shoulders of the two organizations' experiences and derive from a common desire to make visible the loneliness and support the many people who miss other people in their lives.

Mary Fonden Facebook page:

A summer greeting from the Crown Princess:

"This picture is a good memory from last summer.

The summer is for many associated with light, joy and time to be with family and friends.

But for some people summer enhances the feeling of loneliness, because the social life moves out into the light. therefore, we must remember those we tend to forget - even in the bright time. Have a very good summer.
Greetings the Crown Princess "

Article from dr.dk about the cooperation between 'Mary Fonden' and Save the Children Dk:

"Mimi and Mary together against bullying: have trained 10,000 teachers and educators"

"The Crown Princess sat working with us (at Save the Children, ed.) for one year, and was involved in designing the campaign and program with us. At this writing it has helped to train 10,000 teachers and educators, and a third of all schools and nearly half of all kindergartens have been through the program, says Mimi Jakobsen."

"She was totally involved and very active, and it's not something I say, just because it is the Crown Princess!

- There were questions, she came up with ideas and was working hard. It was a very good experience, but also demanding, she asked good questions. But it was very positive and it has been very positive for the project that Mary was in charge of it, says Mimi Jakobsen."

That sounds like lots of behind-the-scenes meetings not seen on the official calendar.

CP Mary and Bubber talking to 6 children about feeling lonely (in Danish).

The article in the Danish Radio website includes a short video - link:

http://www.dr.dk/nyheder/indland/video-kronprinsesse-mary-har-foelt-sig-ensom-det-er-som-vaere-i-en-boble

The article in short:

As part of the Danish Radio's Ultra Galla 2015 and the work of the Mary Foundation, CPM and Danish actor Bubber (his nickname) met with 6 children who have all experienced the feeling of loneliness.

CPM says loneliness is hard to comprehend and to understand. Even surrounded by friends one can still feel lonely. On the other hand, having only a single friend does not mean one has to feel lonely. CPM herself knows all about feeling as she lost her mom as a 25 year old. "It was like being inside a bubble. As if no one understood me. It's a strong emotion and hard to comprehend", CPM explains to the six children.

In the article, two of the six children express how they felt during times og loneliness.

" Recently, the Faroe Islands started to versionize Free of Bullying to North Atlantic conditions.

During the past few days we had a visit from Rúna and Djóni, who have been in Denmark to learn to know 'Free of Bullying'

better and to gather knowledge about the process and practices, so that they can go home and plan the first Free of Bullying-course on the Faroe Islands."
